Summer Knees

Samuel has taken a lot of good spills in the past couple of days. He wiped out hard in the driveway on Thursday night. We were getting ready to head for Daryl's softball game (which ended up being canceled because the field was too wet) and I had finally calmed him down from the crying fit that he had when Daddy left before we did when he was running in the driveway with Hope and fell hard on his hands and knees. One of his knees needed a band-aid. My Mom would always call scraped up knees "summer knees".
