Yesterday we decided it was time to switch Hope's crib over to a toddler bed. I'm a little nervous about how it'll go . . . but we have to try it eventually! When she went upstairs shortly after Daryl made the switch, she came running back to the top of the stairs and yelled down, "Daddy broke my bed!!!!!" We explained to her that it was her new big girl bed to sleep in. She was excited but still unsure about why Daddy broke her bed. She slept great in it last night (I tucked the blanket under the mattress so that she wouldn't fall out!) and hopefully she'll continue to do well. However, today she was still talking about how Daddy broke her bed and but the rails over on Aliyah's crib. Daryl finally brought her to the basement and showed her where he put the railings from her crib. That seemed to help things and she hasn't talked again about how Daddy broke her bed. :)
One of her other favorite phrases is "That's hilarious!!!" She randomly said it the other day and it had all us in stitches. She says it in such a cute way and it's such a big word for a little 2 year old to use!
