What a beautiful Easter Sunday it was!! The sun was shining and it was in the 50s. He is Risen!! We started the day off by heading for Church to worship and celebrate our Risen Savior! We kept Aliyah with us because the nursery was packed full of kids. Hope stayed with us too (now that she is 3 we are trying to keep her in Church with us instead of going to nursery) and loved the singing. Matt Giraud (American Idol contestant from Kalamazoo) was at Centerpoint today helping lead worship. After heading up to change clothes and re-pack diaper bags we headed up to Grand Rapids to my Grandparent's house. Everyone (except for a couple of the cousins and my two bros) were there so that was pretty cool. The kids did great. They love playing with my cousin Tiffany and Great Grandpa and Great Grandma's condo backs up to a fun stream that leads to a bigger pond. (The Detroit Tigers also won on a bottom of the 9th home run by Avila making it an extra great day!)
