Hope: 2 1/2 years old

Hope Atlanta, you are 2 1/2 years old. That is so hard to believe! My sweet little girl is growing up!! Why does time have to go by so quickly?

• You are 28 1/2 lbs
• You are still missing 3 of your 2 year molars
• You talk constantly - especially when Samuel isn't around! Your words are becoming clearer and clearer.
• One of my favorite words that you say is "Got-For" instead of Forgot. Daddy and I love hearing you say it and we don't have the heart to correct you! The other day we were leaving Grandma's house and Samuel was staying there to play for a little bit longer. I started backing out of the driveway and you yelled, "NOOOO! We got-for Samuel!!!!"
• You love to pretend. You, just like your brother, are obsessed with Aunt Anna. So much so that you call yourself Anna and pretend that that is your name.
• You still nap in the afternoons for 2-3 hours. At night you sleep from 8:30/9 to about 8:30 the next morning. You rarely wake up during the night.
• Lately you have wanted Mommy or Daddy (whoever is putting you to bed) to hold you and rock you and sing "Jesus Loves Hopey". After we sing it, we have to hum it (at least twice - you ask for more!) while we snuggle you. This is a routine that Mommy and Daddy love just as much (if not more!) than you.
• You love your Sunday School class and when we pick you up you won't let anyone carry your papers. You are so proud of them!

Favorite Food: mac & cheese (You and Samuel ask for this every day), anything salty and crunchy (pretzels, chips), spaghetti (you can eat 3 helpings of this), yogurt, chips and cheese, hot dogs, applesauce, oranges, grapes, strawberries, popcorn and milkshakes

Least Favorite Food: sandwiches, rice, vegetables, scrambled eggs

Favorite TV shows: Dora the Explorer

Favorite Movies: Boz

Favorite Books: Dora books, Go Dog Go, Any book that has flaps to open

Favorite Toys: Your lunch bag packed full of random things, play food and play kitchen, trampoline (you are getting really good at jumping!), books

Favorite Songs: My God is so Big, Jesus Loves Hopey

Mommy and Daddy love you SO much, Hope Atlanta! We couldn't imagine what life would be like without you. We are blessed to have you as our daughter. You are a dream come true!
