It started out as a great week of camping at Pointe Farms Provincial Park . . . and it kind of went downhill from there. Aliyah had a horrible tummy bug most of the week - no throwing up or diarrhea - but where she was in so much pain and so miserable that she would just scream and have a hard tim catching her breath because of the pain. We almost took her to ER a couple of times but because we were in Ontario there are extra complications with that (insurance, etc). Thankfully, she pulled through and felt better again towards the end of the week. It was also a VERY rainy week and a rainy week with 3 little kids in a tent is not what I call enjoyable. Our tent was very damp inside and everything felt wet. The weather after the first few days wasn't super warm (and did I mention it was rainy?) and with Aliyah being sick we didn't have many good beach days. The kids still seemed to enjoy themselves but it was hard for me to keep it together and have a positive attitude!!
